What are manifestation blocks?

**Manifestation blocks** are internal patterns of resistance that prevent your desires from entering your physical reality. They are not external obstacles—they are beliefs, emotions, and behaviors that exist within you and contradict the reality you are trying to create.

Think of manifestation as water flowing through a pipe. A block is any kink, clog, or shut valve that stops the flow. Your job is not to force more water through, but to identify and remove the block so the flow can resume naturally.

The five most common blocks

Here are the blocks that stop most people:

1. **Limiting beliefs**: Subconscious beliefs that contradict your desire. Example: wanting wealth while believing "rich people are evil."

2. **Attachment and desperation**: Needing the outcome so badly that your dominant emotion is lack, which perpetuates more lack.

3. **Unworthiness**: A deep belief that you do not deserve what you are asking for. This creates self-sabotage whenever you get close.

4. **Inconsistent practice**: Doing manifestation techniques sporadically rather than daily. Sporadic effort produces sporadic results.

5. **Misaligned action**: Taking action from fear, obligation, or desperation rather than from inspiration and alignment.

How to identify your blocks

Use these diagnostic questions:

- When I think about my desire, what emotion comes up first? (Fear, excitement, doubt?)
- What would my life look like if I got this desire? Am I actually comfortable with that?
- What did my parents or culture teach me about this area of life?
- Where do I consistently self-sabotage or procrastinate?
- What is the worst thing that could happen if I actually got what I want?

The answer to the last question often reveals the hidden block. If the worst thing is "I would lose my friends," your block is not about the desire—it is about fear of social rejection.

How to remove manifestation blocks

Once identified, blocks can be removed through:

- **Belief work**: Use affirmations and the Focus Wheel to reprogram limiting beliefs
- **Emotional processing**: Feel and release the emotions attached to the block without judgment
- **Behavioral experiments**: Take small actions that contradict the block to build new evidence
- **Energy work**: Practices like meditation, breathwork, and movement help release stored emotional energy
- **Support**: Sometimes a coach, therapist, or trusted friend can spot blocks you cannot see in yourself
